Battle City provides First Aid & CPR training, in addition to all other required training at no cost to our team members.

Battle City promotes ongoing education and will pay for our team members to gain new skills related to their duties.

Those team members that require criminal record checks will be reimbursed for the cost to obtain it, as long as: the team member is employed with Battle City and obtain it specifical for the purpose related to their employment and the criminal record check results are negative. Criminal record checks are required for all team members 18 years of age and older.

GAME WARDEN

Part-Time
Schedule: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekdays, Weekends
Rate of Pay: $16 - $20

Game Wardens assist with the day to day operation, including: greeting guests, managing games, facilitating parties, cleaning and more.

Qualifications: 14 years of age or older, Customer Service experience preferred, Amusement or hospitality experience is a plus, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays, Comfortable engaging with large groups of people. Must possess or be willing to complete First Aid & CPR Training. Team Members 18 years of age and older are required to provide an annual criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector).

TEAM LEADER

Part-Time / Full-Time
Schedule: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekdays, Weekends
Rate of Pay: $18 - 25

Team Leaders oversee the day to day operation, including: preparing for parties and events, facility maintenance, supervising and assisting Game Wardens.

Qualifications: 16 years of age or older, 1 Year of leadership experience, Customer Service experience preferred, Great Leadership and motivational skills required, Amusement or hospitality experience is a plus, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays, Comfortable engaging with large groups of people. Must possess or be willing to complete First Aid & CPR Training. Team Members 18 years of age and older are required to provide an annual criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector).

MANAGER

Full-Time
Schedule: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekdays, Weekends
Rate of Pay: $25 - $30

Managers are responsible to coordinate the operation, including: completing inspections, auditing and accounting, communicating with party and event planners, ordering supplies, supervising and assisting Team Leaders and Game Wardens.

Qualifications: 18 years of age or older, 3+ Years of leadership experience, Customer Service experience preferred, Great Leadership and motivational skills required, Amusement or hospitality experience is a plus, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays, Comfortable engaging with large groups of people. Must possess or be willing to complete First Aid & CPR Training. Team Members 18 years of age and older are required to provide an annual criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector).

JR. GAME WARDEN, PLAY ALL DAY

Casual - Open Schedule PA Days, March and Summer Break
Schedule: Days, Afternoons,
Rate of Pay: Volunteer

Jr. Game Wardens assist regular Game Wardens during the Play All Day Program on PA Days and during March and the Summer Break.
In this role Jr. Game Wardens will learn how to operate our laser tag system, how to fix broken equipment, receive certification in First Aid and best of all play laser tag all day.

Our Leadership Team will coach Jr. Game Wardens to develop their customer service skills and ability in managing small groups of people.

A certificate of completion will be issued to Jr. Wardens which may be used towards their community service hours towards for high school diploma (if applicable).

Qualifications: 12-14 years of age, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must. No experience required.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Part-Time
Schedule: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekdays, Weekends
Rate of Pay: $18-20

The Office Administrative Assistant's main focus is providing support to our guests through email and phone.
Completing inspections, audits, cleaning and basic accounting tasks are part of this role.

Qualifications: 18 years of age or older, Customer Service and accounting experience preferred, Amusement or hospitality experience is a plus, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays. Team Members 18 years of age and older are required to provide an annual criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector).

PEER TUTOR, AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Part-Time/Temporary (October - December)
Schedule: Mondays: English, Tuesdays: French, Wednesdays: Math, Thursdays: Science, Fridays: All Subjects.
Schedule: Weekdays, Afterschool until 6:00pm
Rate of Pay: Volunteer

Our After School & Homework Help Program is designed to provide a place where youth can obtain support with a subject and their homework.

Our Peer Tutors are Grade 11 and 12 student volunteers that excel in a specific subject (with grades exceeding 85%).
The Peer Tutor will do their best to help clarify any lessons or homework that a Student Participant has, providing them with support where necessary.

Volunteer hours may be used towards community service hours towards for high school diploma (if applicable).

Qualifications: Grade 11 and 12 Highschool Students, Grade of 85% or higher in supporting subject. No experience required.
