- Guests may bring light decorations (i.e. a couple balloons and a banner).
- Pinatas, confetti, poppers, silly string and sparklers are not permitted.
- Other groups may be scheduled elsewhere in the venue during your event; however, your laser tag games and party area remain private to your group.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQ
Are birthday parties private?
Yes. Your laser tag games and party area are reserved exclusively for your group, and players are never mixed into your games with other groups. Other parties or guests may be at Battle City during your reservation, as birthday packages do not include exclusive facility access.
What is the best age for tactical laser tag parties?
Battle City does not have an age restriction and instead operates with a minimum height requirement of 116 centimeters (3 feet 8 inches) tall, which is typically 6 years of age and older.
For safety and gameplay reasons, all players must be able to independently hold, carry, aim and operate the laser tag equipment without assistance. Due to the size and weight of the equipment, the experience is best suited for players approximately 6 years of age and older.
Players that do not meet the height or operational requirements will not be permitted to participate. Only active players are permitted in the arena.
How many players can attend?
All birthday packages include 6 players (including the birthday guest), with additional players available up to a maximum of 30 participants.
Additional players can usually be added right up until your reservation.
Can I change the number of players before the party?
Yes. Player counts can be adjusted right up until the start of the party. Our team will confirm the final number of players when your group arrives, and your reservation will be updated based on the guests who actually attend. Hosts are only charged for additional players attending beyond the 6 players included with the package. Package pricing cannot be reduced below the 6 included players. Additional players or guests may also join during the event, and the reservation will be updated accordingly.
Can parents stay during the party?
Yes. Non-playing guests are welcome to stay and watch the experience from the party area.
Battle City reserves the right to limit non-playing guests for operational and safety reasons.
Do guests need to complete a waiver?
Yes. All players must have a completed waiver on file prior to participating. Players under 18 years of age must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Our digital waiver can be completed online using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Can I arrive early to set up for the party?
We recommend arriving no more than 10–15 minutes prior to your reservation start time. As Battle City operates private experiences, we do not have a waiting area available for groups arriving early.
Guests should be instructed to arrive for the reservation start time to help avoid overlapping groups and parking lot congestion. Access to the Party Area begins at the scheduled reservation start time and early access cannot always be accommodated.
Please note: Battle City opens daily at 10:20 AM and cannot accommodate earlier arrivals.
Can we bring decorations, cake or food?
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring birthday cake, cupcakes, snacks and decorations for their event. We recommend simple decorations and desserts that are easy to set up and clean up. Ice cream cakes can be stored in our freezer until needed.
Silver, Gold and Platinum Packages include pizza, drinks, plates, cups, napkins and utensils. Pizza is provided by Domino’s Pizza Oshawa, with vegan and gluten-free options available upon request. Changes to food or drinks require at least 24-hours notice.
Bronze Packages do not include food or tableware.
The White Package does not include use of a party area.
For safety reasons, confetti, confetti poppers, pinatas, sparklers, fireworks and similar items are not permitted.

I’ve booked an event — now what?
Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive our Event Guide with important information on preparing for your party, arrival instructions and what to expect on the day of your event.
We strongly recommend reviewing the guide as soon as it is received.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes. A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required for all birthday party, event and mobile reservations. The deposit is applied toward the total reservation balance.
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the reservation date without additional penalty. Security deposits are non-refundable but may be issued as a 60-day credit toward a future reservation.
Reservations cancelled within 14 days of the event may be subject to full reservation charges.
What is the rescheduling policy?
Reservations may be rescheduled up to 7 days prior to the reservation date without additional penalty.
Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the event may result in forfeiture of the security deposit and additional charges.
